Guard911 is a mobile app designed as a panic button for emergency situations. When activated during an active shooting emergency, a user can press the main panic button, which initiates a call to 911. Simultaneously, an alert is dispatched to the smartphones of both on and off-duty federal, state, and local law enforcement officers who are nearby and part of the Hero911 Network.

Furthermore, an intra-location alert is promptly transmitted to all users' smartphones, along with a mapped location indicating the precise area of the initial alert (mapping functionality may vary based on cell coverage). Guard911 also sends alerts to all other safeguarded locations within a 5-mile radius of the incident.

It's worth noting that Guard911 is featured in the AT&T FirstNet App Catalog as an essential emergency application for first responders.

Please bear in mind that continuous use of GPS services running in the background can lead to a significant depletion of your device's battery life.
